I still would rather go other countries to study, i think it was Canada, or australia, if we went there now, we would be promoted straight away, our education here is advanced

alot of people think thats the case but from my over 8 years experience here, primary sch n lower high sch is easy but once u reach upper high sch it gets tough. english here, i used to get A's in singapore but here im just scrapping passes. and maths depending on which type of maths u take, the harder courses are studied at the same time as singapore. ^^ and upper high sch u do some subjects which are the same as jc. I suppose it can be harder or easier depending which angle ur coming from (like me i 'cheated' n took easy maths course cos i cnt do maths one, just ask henry low, so yeah, maths atm for me is chicken feet -.-).
And since english is uber impt n compulsory for uni entry here, its like mega mega top priority. getting an A in english here, even for many aussies, is tough stuff. to tell u honestly, last semester less than 5% of my batch got an A for eng/eng lit. oral presentations are killers. You try presenting an argument and trying to convince a class on a issue/world concern for 10 minutes! ><
but dont let that deter u from overseas study. its still a great experience. and btw, many asians who come to aussie dont promote an extra level.
